Is porn ruining your sex IRL?

While watching porn may seem like a fun way to get yourself excited, set the mood with a fellow freak, or even find new positions and other kinky ideas, the truth is quite the contrary. Despite the fact that approximately 28,258 people watch porn every second, the porn junkies are doing so to the detriment of their own sex lives. With that in mind, the following is a shortlist of reasons your porn addiction may be ruining your real sex life.

Poor Foreplay

If you spend your free time watching young coeds go at it online, it is highly likely that you have no clue what you’re doing in the bed in real life. Listen, women require foreplay (Google it!) to become excited and lubricated enough to truly enjoy sex. If you are a porn-addicted man, you probably suck at sucking. Likewise, if you are a woman, you probably don’t know how to demand that your needs are met before sex and probably enjoy sex far less because of it. Incidentally, women, fellatio is actually sex, not foreplay. Also, it’s not nearly as fun as it looks. Luckily, there are plenty of things you can do besides that to get your man going.

Uncomfortable Positioning

A porn addiction can also cause you to use uncomfortable positions when you are having sex. Sure, some men can lift their lady to enjoy mind-blowing sex for hours on end, however, this is probably not the case for the vast majority. And ladies, just because you see a woman who is twisted up like a pretzel on Porn Hub, does not mean you should risk a charlie horse just to channel your inner Asa Akira. In other words, know your limits folks!

Limited Climax

The quality of you and your partner’s climax is likely to be greatly compromised by your porn addiction. If you are a man, you probably think all that screaming and moaning means she’s in ecstasy. However, she’s most likely just yelling what you want to hear. You may also think that sex is awesome as long as you reach your peak. However, there is this thing known as a simultaneous orgasm (again, Google it!), that will literally blow your mind. Nevertheless, you will probably never experience it as long as you think your orgasm is the only one that counts.

On the flip side, women, you are probably not reaching climax at all. And if you are, it is likely a clitoral orgasm, which often pales in comparison to the vaginal orgasm. Alas, sadly enough, many women are convinced that the latter is akin to bigfoot or the loch ness monster (As in, maybe they exist, but most don’t have a hope of ever seeing them).

Porn can be fun, but just like everything else, it’s best when used in moderation. Watching porn all the time might seem like fun, but you could be giving a true award-winning performance in real life.
